If you have any advice/experience about sharing a house with others or live alone, please let me know. I will start a new job in Fremont and would like to know what is the best option for me. My family will not come to Fremont for a year, thus I need to find a place to live in Fremont, close to the company, and not too expensive (around < $900/month) All suggestions welcome. Thanks in advance.

My boss does it and it works for him. He found the house on craigslist. I think the key is screening the person so you don't move in with someone who parties all night.

There are a lot of people who commute from outside the bay area and have a work week apartment/home. Craigslist might be good to find someone like that.

Thanks very much. Any suggestions what area in Fremont is safe to live? or should stay away?
