DENNYZ is on a distinguished road
Default Vta

hello I'm a 16 year old and I live near independence high school

I'm trying to apply for a job at raging waters so I was wondering if anyone could help me with the public bus. what # bus would I need to go from jackson street to raging waters? and what # in return? and usually what time do they come (if they set time)

I'm also a little new to bus so how does it work? I go in and insert 1.50$ in the box? or does the driver collect it? and I heard that if I pay um 2 dollar I get a ticket for a whole day's ride on the bus?

-thank you

If you go to www.vta.org you can view a lot of information about available buses and their times. It even has a trip planner that lets you input a start and end destination and puts it up on google maps telling you which buses to take. You can see there if theres a route that takes you near your work.

As far as the fare, for a youth ticket, its $1.50 for a single ride, and $4 for a Day Pass. You get both with the bus driver, theres a little machine that you slide the bills into right when you get on. With the day pass it allows you infinite rides on all buses and also the VTA light rail. You can also pre-buy a monthly pass if you will be going every day, might be a significant savings, I'm not sure where you go to get that though. Probably more information on the web page.

Take the 70 bus and walk from Eastridge. That looks like the easiest way.
