I grew up in Encinitas and now go to Santa Clara University. The things I noticed are: 1) San Jose isn't very attractive 2) There's no beach 3) Reminds me of the L.A basin 4) a lot of smog 5) MUCH colder in the winter 6) colder nights (even in spring/summer) 7) less humid in August/September (which is nice) 8) close to a real city
I'm only 19, so I can't tell you about clubs/bars. I honestly don't see many redeeming qualities about San Jose compared to San Diego, with the exception of a less humid summer. |
