Default commute from watsonville to Santa Cruz

Anyone know what this commue would be like? From Watsonville to UCSC in the morning?

I can't find any redeeming qualities in watsonville besides the huge, cheap houses but SC is sort of expensive.

It wouldn't be too terribly bad. It's only about 20 miles. If home ownership is a huge issue, Watsonville may be ideal. If not, SC would be better.

I'd rather live on the west side of SC, or even the east side but we need a large home.

I've heard that it's a bad commute in the morning, but if I can get there in 1/2 hour or less I'm ok with that. It looks like they are widening the "fish-hook". What is the worst traffic time?

Thanks!
