Default Real Estate Prices

I have been trying to figure out where real estate prices are headed currently in the South Bay Area. Any thoughts on this for this next year and over the next two years?

Prices are going down, a lot. The medium house price in San Jose is down about 150K from last year. Sales are going up too, so I'd wait a couple months but buy soon before they might start peaking up again.

You got it, Rhymes with Orange. The best priced (mostly bank owned) properties are getting snatched up in 12 days or less. They are future priced, so they're gone if you're not watching close enough

Nobody knows where real estate prices are going, but I believe San Jose's median home price rose in the year 2007. Everyone is certainly blessed with an opinion though

I think i just read in the Santa Cruz Sentinel that the average price of a home in Santa Cruz county has decreased by 51K in just one month.
