I hear you. I'm done with the smoke. We've only had 2 semi clear days in 2 weeks.

It's made for good sunsets, though.

At least now the air quality reports for San Jose are "moderate" and not "unhealthy for sensitive groups" (which is my entire family). Hope it gets better once it cools down a bit- I read that the heat makes the smog worse.

Lucky the Santa Clara Valley gets the Pacific Ocean to clear it out once in a while, its like a big gush of ocean air to push all the pollution away. I feel bad for those who live in the Central Valley, because it gets stuck there like a big bowl and all bad air is just stagnant. I think the worst air pollution in the USA is in the Bakersfield area.

I live near Bakersfield and we've been getting a breeze,so the air has been clearing up.

Was wondering if you guys are getting any haze in Vegas from all these wildfires out here ?

Usually when the wind is from the West, we will get smoke from Cali. But this time of year, the wind is from the south east and we get that monsoon type flow and brings us humid/thunderstorm weather. It was quite nice today with some humidity and only in the 90's.

I'm in Watsonville where the Big Sur fire has just been destroying air quality, blotting out the sun, making everyones sick...just ruining summer.
