Default Commute on 237 - to decide residence

Hi
I am considering a commute from Sunnyvale to east bay (pleasanton) in the morning. Please let me know how bad the 237 commute would be. I am living in Sunnyvale as it has decent access to mountain view, palo alto and sfo downtowns compared to sanjose or Fremont downtowns. Trying to finalize an apartment based on your feedbacks. Thanks so much!! If 237 east, 680 would be bad on the average, pls let me know other options.

That's reverse commute so it shouldn't be too bad, but have you ever driven on 237 between 880 and 680? Calaveras Blvd is universally hated by the locals for its congestion and crazy drivers.

Even the drive eastbound from First Street to 880 on 237 can be pretty bad in the morning, depending on the time that you are on the road.

True. It's still not as bad as the grind as you leave Milpitas on Calaveras and go towards 101 in the morning (which I am very familiar with), but it can get kind of heavy as commuters pile on coming towards SJ's tech quarter.
