How are the men in SJ? Are the stereotypes true?
I have heard the stereotypes of nerdy tech guys from SJ, but is this really true? With so many people, SJ has to have a certain percentage of single men that are not into gaming and stuff right? Or no?

I scored 800 on my SAT. I'm not a nerd and I live in SJ.
I can't tell the difference between a square and a circle.
Steven Jobs = my hero. I love him.

I wasted like a minute of my life reading that. Why even bother posting? Not helpful at all.

Not really a true stereotype. If you go downtown at night you'll find normal guys for example

I see. What about the stereotype about SF guys being commitment-phobic? Is that true? I like living in SF, but don't wanna deal with flaky guys.

You seem to be making a lot of generalizations about men in SF and SJ. Have you actually experienced this yourself or are you basing it on stereotypes (which, quite frankly, I hadn't really even heard before even though I've been in the area for quite a while)?
Look, you're going to find people of all sorts in each city. Both SJ and SF are big cities with a diverse populations. You're definitely going to like some men and not like others in each city. If you're going to pre-judge people based on where they live (which you seem to be doing), that's not going to help you to find the right guy.

You need to read my post more carefully. I asked if the stereotype was true and if it were then I wouldn't want to live in a place that will lower my chances. I know they are generalizations, but sometimes those exist for a reason. If they are not true, then good. That's all you had to tell me. You do not need to accuse me of things.

Spot on. Couldn't have said it better myself. The post sounds more like a troll than anything.

Um it was an honest question. Just because you misinterpreted the question doesn't mean I am a troll.
I was just asking if the stereotypes are true or not. Some stereotypes do have some truth to them.

Are stereotypes of entire populations of people ever true? Why don't you give us an example of one that is.
