Wink Millionaires in San Jose

Okay....I just read that San Jose has quite a lot of millionaires

So, seeing how I am recently divorced, I thought I should approach this like a job hunt....do my homework and see where I should land.

I am not a gold digger....just practical

Where exactly are these "millionaires" located?

The thing about San Jose is you'd never know if your neighbor was a millionaire. Generally they aren't all that flashy, they don't flaunt their money usually. Plus most of them can see through peoples shallowness.

Sure, lots of wealthy single guys in Woodside and SF...but many are workaholics...

When not in office/working, many have wkend houses on LA's Westside or Malibu....prob is LA is almost everyone's favored playground, attracting lots of wealthy guys from SV/NYC/Chic/Dallas, etc and many talented young women (they keep making new ones every yr)....isn't competition great???

Just keep an eye out for the geeky, techie types.

Seriously, they're all over. The Silver Creek area, Willow Glen are, and the Rose Garden area, are probably where most of them live in San Jose. You can probably find some of the single ones (and maybe the married ones) at the local clubs/bars in Santana Row on the weekends.

'Millionaires' are not really all that wealthy in SV, relatively speaking. Anyone with a decent house and a 401k could qualify as a 'millionaire' here. And, like an earlier commenter said, most of them have wives (or x-wives, at least). And kids.

This is very true. A million isn't what it used to be. Especially when a nice house in a good school district is $1 M+.
