Default San Jose & Cupertino - Gotta fnd smthing midway

Hi Folks,

I had a gr8 welcome in the very beautiful CA and I am already loving it here..Moving here from PA...
My wife would be working in San Jose, pretty close to the Champion Station ( Light Rail Station ) and I would be working in the Cupertino area( close to cupertino square mall)... Need suggestions from you with respect to finding apartments... She would travel in Train and I would drive to office.. So looking for an apartment close to light rail which can take her to office and at the same time not very far from Cupertino, max arnd 9 miles frm it...
Looking for a nice community .... and making myself ready for a rent of $1600 (In PA it was almost half of it )

Mountain View and Sunnyvale are good choices with plenty of apt buildings and complexes in both towns. The VTA light rail stops in both towns and it's a short drive to Cupertino via hwy 85 (freeway) from Mountain View.

I also like Campbel which is also on the light rail line and close to freeways I-880 and hwy 85. It has a nice downtown Welcome to Downtown Campbell.

The only town physically between the two is Santa Clara, and that train station is right on the edge with SC anyway. You could look at any of the many high-end apartments in the Tasman & North First area. Or alternately, if you lived in Campbell near Campbell Ave & San Tomas Expwy, then she could take the 330 bus and you could take the 26.
