Default Reasonably price areas around Mountain View?
I'm considering relocating to the bay area with my husband and 3 kids. The job would be in Mountain View, so I'm looking for affordable houses to rent in decent neighborhoods within a 20-30 minute commute. Does anyone have any recommendations for cities to look in? I would need a 3br house/townhouse in a good school district for under $3K/month. Is this even possible? And would anyone have a rental agent they can recommend to talk to?

Before you move, check out the Average Cost per Rental in each of the locations. Here's an example of what I'm talking about from Rental Househunter at least...
