Default Where to rent on the Peninsula

I'm interesting in renting a 1 bedroom apartment somewhere on the Peninsula somewhere in the $1700-$2200 range.

Can anyone recommend an apartment that is in this range?

Thanks.

Man, at that range, you can rent anything. Check craigslist or rent.com. They are both pretty good. Honestly, my vote would be for menlo park, los altos, or los altos hills (out of someones home). If you want to live closer to SF, there are some awesome properites in San Mateo hills, and a few very quiet units in belmont. As you get close to SF, the area gets quite bad until you get into SF, so I wouldnt go north of San Mateo if I were you. West Side Redwood City/San Carlos are nice between alameda de las pulgas and El camino real (82). palo alto near University Ave and 82 would also be quite favorable.

Honestly, at that price you can afford anything so it is all up to you where you want to live.

Default apartment

Mountain View has many, many apartments. Too numerous to mention. Palo Alto few, Sunnyvale more expensive, Cupertino mostly homes.
