Default Milpitas Commute

My husband and I are moving to California. I have a job in Santa Clara and he has a job in San Ramon. We are thinking about living in Milpitas. Does anyone know how long a commute it would be for him to go from Milpitas to San Ramon during rush hour (7am and 5pm) and also how long it would be for me to go from Milpitas to Santa Clara?

Also does anyone recommend any other cities that would be cool to live in that is between San Ramon and Santa Clara that would not give either of us a very long commute.

That would be good for both of you. Milpitas to San Remote, er, I mean Ramon is reverse commute direction and no problem at all. Beautiful drive too. Getting to Santa Clara via Hwy 237 is a little heavy because of the bottleneck at 880 but still doesn't take that long. Be sure to visit first - I enjoyed living in Milpitas but there definitely is a certain odor to it, which turns a lot of people off.

Fremont would be an option too as I especially like the area near Ohlone College/Mission Peak but that area is more expensive than Milpitas. It would make your commute to Santa Clara longer as well.
