Moving to San Jose area
I'm A 23 year old male starting work with Stryker (south of San Jose). Any suggestions on where to live? I would like an apartment where there are a lot of young professionals and out door activities. I don't mind a 5 to 10 mile drive.

Your name wouldn't happen to be stellar as in the incubus song stellar would it?
Sorry, that's totally random. It's just a good song.
And sorry that you were probably expecting some good advice on where to move but i have none because i'm also thinking about moving there and don't know where.

Ah I see, it's right off of 101/Silver Creek Valley. Outdoor activities? Big check. Apartments? Uh.. Blossom Valley. Young professionals? Uh.................. not within 5 miles. Downtown SJ to some extent. Santana Row. Campbell.

Hi Stellar,
I'm 22 and I'll be moving to San Jose also to work for Cisco. I was looking for the exact same type of thing...an apartment complex with a lot of young professionals...have you found anything yet?

I would recommend trying to find something in the down town area if possible.

I would agree with the downtown recommendation. Also, a lot of Cisco facilities are accessible via Light Rail.
