Default 3 bedroom rental in Los Altos?

Does such a rental exist for under $2,500 a month? i'd love to move to Los Altos but haven't seen anything in my price range. With two kids we need a 3 bedroom, am i just out of luck or are there rental websites, etc other than Craigslist that i am missing. Thanks!

my coworker is renting a 3br house in Los Altos for really cheap, like under $2k but sometimes the landlord visits and stays in 1 of the rooms. they also use each other's cars and stuff so it's not really a regular arrangement. he did find this through craigslist and they didn't know each other prior to renting.

Hi mparker- Here is the link to the town newspaper. Check out the Classifieds and also with the real estate firms advertising in the paper- they may handle rentals. You might find something in the Mountain View or Cupertino neighborhoods that butt up against LA too.
