Living in Willow Glen and work in the city?
Is it a nightmare to live in Willow Glen and take mass transit into the city? My husband will be working in the city and we are wondering about the commute.
Thanks!

Uh, what? Willow Glen isn't that far from downtown.

Do you mean San Francisco or downtown San Jose?

Assuming you mean San Francisco, which we call "the city," you would take the 82 or 63 bus to Caltrain and then if you get on an express train, it'll be an hour and a half end to end. I personally think it's disgusting that it's faster to get from San Jose to San Francisco than it is to get to the other side of San Jose, but whatever.

If you mean San Francisco, I would not want to do that. As sonarrat said, that means 1.5 hours from door to door. Even if you drive to the train station, that's still at least an hour.
Definitely not for me.
