Per news reports, the only person I know of is Carly Fiorina, former CEO of Hewlett Packard. However, there may, or may not be others. I've heard nothing of anyone making a suicidal primary challenge against her.

No one who has a prayer, unfortunately. This is one election where I'm going to make sure not to vote for any incumbents, because the established collective of politicians we have in office have done nothing to honor their constituents' votes.. but I don't expect Boxer or Pelosi to lose their seats any time soon.

I don't think Carly Fiorina has actually declared herself a candidate as yet, and the only known candidate that I'm aware of is Chuck DeVore. He's a member of the California State Assembly, Dist. 70.
Good luck to either of them!

you can say that again, I heard her on TV last night. Someone called her ma'am when they asked her a question: her comment back (para phrasing a little) I would appreciate if you would call me Senator, I worked hard to get to this position. What a pompous ##itch.

DeVore is good with mass media - a good public speaker with a likable demeanor. Of course he's got minimal funds and most of the MSM are not likely to give him the open door. Oh well ... it's the thought that counts, got to give an A for effort ... LOL!

I don't think Fiorina would stand a chance given her performance at HP.
There are many here in the Bay area (I live in San Jose) that don't hold her in high regard... and I'm being polite.

Yeah despite current polls putting Fiorina in a good light, I can't see her beating Boxer. Boxer has lead a charmed life as every election, the Republicans put up terrible candidates when a moderate Republican would probably trounce her.

Of course the democrats do the same thing in the Governor race as they can't seem to find a moderate Democrat ever.

Oh joy, thousands of HP employees weree laid off just so the company could afford to pay her to go away. Might as well run Dr Mengele
