Default Visiting Santa Fe

We're going back through Santa Fe on vacation in early August. Were looking for a couple of more economical places to shop for home decorations. We'd to have some local artwork, but a lot of it is out of the current budget. Are there any lesser known places to shop? We usually end up in the areas around the plaza and the art galleries. We've discovered the Jackalope and love it, but I'd like some things that aren't imports. Any suggestions?

Also, we're having withdrawls from lack of green chiles. Where is a good place to get them? I know it'll be a little early in the season, but's that the only time we can fit our visit into the schedule.
