I am thinking of moving to Santa Fe from Hawai'i for my next year of college. Could anyone tell me what Santa Fe is like and what there is to do there?
Thanks!

What it's like: a small city

What there is to do: the normal stuff

(perhaps do a bit of research and then come back with specific questions?)

What made you think of doing that? Perhaps if folks had a better idea of your motivation they could give you better info.

That's a unique use of surfboard wax, assuming that's what he's putting on there. Seems like that would slow you down.

Someone could probably make some decent coin from "Surf New Mexico" tee shirts and bumper stickers.

Ordinary paraffin works just as well - the stuff you can buy in a grocery store that was once popular for sealing canning jars.

And skis and snow boards will work if you don't like using a saucer. M-a-n-y years ago we home-made sand skis from ordinary 1 X 6 boards, sanded smooth with the edges rounded off with a file.

Ok - this made me laugh so hard I almost spit out my tea. Thank you for the humor. And if anyone ever sees a t-shirt like this, post here! I would totally buy one.
