The Blue Corn Cafe is a great microbrew pub with some excellent food, I visited it last two years ago and if I ever go to Santa Fe again it ill be the place I eat at.
I was fascianted when I went to the Loretto Church (at the Inn and Spa of Loretto I think its called). The stairwell and the story behind it is great IMHO.
Make sure that you catch the sunset over drinks at Encantado. Also, the high road to Taos is a must. Stop in Chimayo and the old churches and galleries.
I would have an early dinner/late lunch in Taos but would not spend the night. 1 day in Taos is enough unless you ski.
Dinner at Aqua Santa can be really fun, same for the Compound restaurant and Coyote.
Blue Corn has mediocre food and beer. The only reason I go there is during football season. The southside one has all the football games on. I also recommend Ten Thousand Waves. You will love it. Make reservations in advance online. They are usually booked.
Re: Ten Thousand Waves, you don't need a reservation to use the public hot tub/sauna area, and I believe women have the choice of a mixed or a women-only tub. That would be a great way to get a taste of the place.
