Are you looking to relocate or to go on a holiday to Santa Fe ?
Overall its a very nice, vibrant city. There is LOTS to see there, the food can be great and the people are very nice. It is very expensive in many places. I spent $8 on a 12oz bottle of beer in once place, but if you look around you can find some great place. The best eaterie (IMHO) is the Blue Corn Cafe and Brewery, I reccomend their wheat beer Blue Corn Cafe & Brewery in Santa Fe, New Mexico

Santa Fe, New Mexico Convention and Visitors Bureau: home This is an OK resource for info on Santa Fe.

I think Brian H is right about his favorite eating place but there are a lot
of great and not so expensive places that are frequented mostly by the
locals and not the tourists. The tourist places are always on the high side.
Santa Fe is basically a art and tourist town or at least that's the way I
see it. I don't live there but many of my realatives do so I'm there a lot
more than I would like to be. I don't particulary care for the narrow
and sometimes rough streets. It's also usually difficult to find parking places
in town but if you look you will find something. I think it's nicer in the summer
than in the winter because it's cooler than most new mexico towns. If you
are planning to move there you will really have to check out the prices.
They are quite high in almost all parts of town.

Smile Thank you City-Data.com for so much information!

Just go to City-Data.com, and put in Santa Fe, or any other city you're interested in, for a great deal of information.

P.S. They don't call Santa Fe, the "City Different" for nothing! See for yourself when you get the chance. I'll leave "specific" places, restaurants, etc. up to Santa Fe's forum contributors.
