I am looking for non-expensive vacation rentals in Santa Fe, I was browsing through some of the vacation rentals website and those are pretty expensive (for me at-least). I would like something around $400/week.

It doesn't need to be fancy, other than the normal bed and bath stuff all I need is cooking range, fridge & a microwave, of course in a safe neighborhood.

If possible near Plaza area ( I got the info from searching this forum to spend a week in Santa Fe, good resource, thx)

Santa Fe is a pretty expensive town to visit... you'll probably have to spend more than $400/week, especially if you want to be near the Plaza. If you're willing to be 10 miles outside of town, there appear to be a few studios for rent on vrbo.com that would only be $550ish a week. Good luck!

I was browsing vrbo and other vacation rental websites before posting the question; you are right about 400/week being very low given that I am looking at a prime location, hence I have reduced the number of days that I am planning to stay to 4 instead of a week. Narrowed down couple of them, hopefully it works otherwise I will book a hotel with cook top range, fridge and microwave. In any case, here I come SF ...

Take a look at AirBNB/. Great - mostly interesting and unusual - places to stay in Santa Fe.
