Where is the best place to live close to Santa Fe that i can get a nice house for under 300,000

I think Tesque is the best little town, but you are not getting anything there for under 300k. You might want to check Placitas, which is south, its actually closer to Albuquerque.

The area out east of Santa Fe is very scenic...I really like Glorieta and Pecos ... but it is probably a 30 minute drive into Santa Fe ... and I am not sure what the prices run out there.
