Hi, we have lived in ABQ for about a year now and still haven't had a chance to come up to Santa Fe. Since we both have the day off on Thanksgiving we were thinking about driving up as a little break from our routine and to get to see the area.

We are looking for restaurant options that 1. will be open on Thanksgiving, 2. are not expensive (also we don't want to get "dressed up") - we would prefer something we could spend around $30-40 for two people including tip and non-alcoholic drinks. Spending less than 30 would be better, we are on a very limited budget but since it's a special occasion we can stretch a little. We may be able to budget a little more if necessary but we'd like to avoid it.

We'd prefer to support a local business not a chain.

Thanks so much!

I have the same question as I might be visiting Santa Fe on Thanksgiving day.

What restaurants will be serving T-day dinner? can any locals advise?

Thanks!

Hello,

Finding places that serve dinner on holidays is a challenge.

Two I've found so far are La Casa Sena (http://www.lacasasena.com/Menus.html - broken link) and Zia Diner.

Another one: Thanksgiving Brunch at La Posada Hotel

The only one of these I've been to is Zia Diner (and not on Thanksgiving), it is fine for young children. The other two are more upscale (I believe). You should probably get your reservation in ASAP, if required.

Thanks for the info, now we're not sure if we'll make it up there - both of us down with a bad cold

The Palace Restaurant is also open turkey day. Great food and atmosphere. A little pricey. Reservations will probably be required.
