Default Northern New Mexico College vs Santa Fe Community College

I'm thinking about taking a couple classes at community college but am not sure whether to try Northern New Mexico College in Espanola or Santa Fe Community College. I'm assuming the quality of teaching is about the same at both. Also, I would be driving there from Los Alamos. I am a "old" student so it'd be nice if there were other older students there too.

Is anyone familiar with either? Is it difficult to find open classes? How is parking?

I don't know anything about the college in Espanola, but I've taken various classes at SFCC, and haven't been disappointed yet. Good variety, good teachers, affordable. I guess it depends on what your interest are, but my only wish is that my schedule could accommodate more classes.

I took some great classes at SFCC which were a big help when I went to college full-time after I moved to WA. The teachers at SFCC were fantastic and the college inexpensive. The colleges should have demographics on age ranges. When picking teachers, I look at their background, degrees and what other students say on Rate my Professor and MySpace's professor rating systems.

I don't know anything about the college in Espanola. Good luck and have fun!
