We have been trying to familiarize ourselves with west of the plaza neighborhoods and would like to know the geographical borders of Casa Solana and Casa Alegre. Is it accurate to say that St. Francis Drive is the eastern border of either of these neighborhoods? What neighborhood is Lopez Street in?

The geographical borders are shown on these maps for the two neighborhoods:

St. Francis Drive is the eastern border of one neighborhood and east of the other neighborhood.

I do not see Street in either neighborhood, but I could have missed it...

Poncho's links show you the boundaries of Casa Alegre and Casa Solana. Casa Solana is indeed bound on the east by St. Francis. But Casa Alegre is bound on the east by Cerrillos. The area you're talking about (Lopez st. West of St. Francis) is called La Madera, although I don't know if realtors use that identifier. They might refer to it loosely as "Historic Guadalupe", although that neighborhood is actually across St. Francis, to the east of La Madera.

Hmmm, I'd say that Lopez is in the northern part of the Railyard District. The historic Guadalupe District, I believe, is bounded by W. Alameda to the south, Guadalupe to the east, Paseo de Peralta to the north, and St. Francis to the west.
