We are planning to move to Santa Fe next year, and have made several trips there this year to check things out. Other than the RailRunner and a few pedi-cabs, we did not see public transportation... Even Uber had no cars available. Of course, that is great for air quality and traffic congestion! Are there busses from the outskirts of town to the center? Other community transportation for seniors?

Santa Fe Seniors are entitled to several benefits through the New Mexico Aging and Long-Term Services Department, among these benefits is the City of Santa Fe Senior Van Service. This service offers free public transportation for seniors aged 60 and older. Appointments for a ride must be made 24 hours in advance of the intended ride. To schedule a ride qualifying individuals should call (505)-955-4700.[1]
