Default Still Soggy in Seattle

OK, OK - I'll get try to get something posted but probably not until this weekend. I've got a husband staring at me, telling me the walls won't paint themselves. And we want to get the house on the market by the first week of June.... Lots & lots to do so I've gotta run.

We did return to rain, wind & 56 degree weather. Sigh... I just keeping telling myself that this is what makes the PNW so great!

Welcome Towanda! Glad your move went (sort of) smoothly!

JMR, have a safe trip! I can relate to the stuffed car. When I unpacked mine into 3x8 storage unit, the manager walked by and did a double take, asking if ALL that had fit into my Taurus. Yup. Those Space Bags are awesome Post when you get here!

Soggy - hope your home sells fast! I know how hard it is to stay and wrap up, once your mind is made up to go and your heart has left ahead of you.

Yesterday was a reminder to me why I love this state and why I wanted to move here so badly for so long.

My son and daughter in law are here for the weekend; they drove my car out here, and they will fly back to Missouri tomorrow.

Yesterday we drove to Taos from Santa Fe. We took the low road up along the Rio Grande, and the high road back through Peñasco and Chimayo. It was a gorgeous day and the scenery was just spectacular. My son has not been in NM since he was a teenager, and my daughter in law has never been here. They were quite astounded with the scenic views of the mountains.

We ate lunch at the Guadalajara Cafe in Taos. Great food .. but Mexican with no green chile which I missed.

New Mexico is an incredibly beautiful state.
