Termites in Santa Fe?
Are there problems with termites in Santa Fe? Do people need to treat for them?

I don't know of anyone that has had termite problems.

New Mexico does have termites... Santa Fe is not immune.

Most of my life. I never said SF was immune, only that I've never known of anyone that's had a termite problem. |

I live in southern Santa Fe county and we did not need a termite bond nor treatment for our home. I hve heard eastern NM (eg Clovis, Portales,....) has termite issues, but cannot say with authority how bad or exactly where they are.
My house is overrun by crickets and spiders though.
