I backed out of the MVD (cop riding along)... drove down the street... performed a three-point turn... drove back... parked... licensed @ 15 yrs old.

Another item on the Santa Fe exam is the "Wandering Tourist Test". The examiner will direct you to drive around the Plaza, and negotiate the streets as clueless individuals from Texas, California and New York gawk open-mouthed at the shops and heedlessly amble into the middle of the road right in front of your car. Although as with most locals you will be tempted to floor it and flatten said tourist, you must resist the temptation and navigate around them. In the past, no points were deducted for cussing them out, or yelling "Bad tourist, no turquoise!", but they might have changed the rules, so check on that.

thx vinegaroon, that's very useful.... i suppose i would drive to the "Plaza"?? such a long drive?
