White...white....white...Turkey Day
Hey....it's snowing here too! It started about mid-morning, then stopped and pretty much melted. BUT ..... about 4:30 it started again and hasn't stopped. It's cold so the morning it is going to be beautiful.....Hope everyone had a safe and happy day.

We're well into Fall now and I still haven't been able to see my breath in the morning... it's no fun down here.

Here in Maryland, we just got a 5 min hailstorm - reminded me of the hail we used to get in Albuq.
Interesting though, that the hailstorms in Albuquerque were more common during the monsoon. Those must have been some serious storm tops to produce air cold enough for summertime hail...

There was more snow in Santa Fe overnight.
The snow in the lower elevations is already melting fast (though it did look really pretty when we got up) ... but the Sangres and Jemez are snow covered. And there is snow in the forecast for the next week.
Good news for the ski area which I think is scheduled to open today.
