- Espanola Boys Varsity beat Gallup on Tuesday 11/25 in Espanola (score will be posted)

- Pojoaque Boys Varsity beat Grants on Friday 11/28 in Pojoaque 66-64

- Santa Fe Boys Varsity beat Los Alamos on 11/28 in Santa Fe 67-62

- Questa Boys Varsity beat Taos on 11/29 in Questa 61-56

- Penasco Boys Varsity beat Dulce on 11/29 in Penasco 46-43


Espanola Valley Sundevils last year ranked 1st in AAAA lost 4 seniors to graduation, this year beat Gallup for the first time since 1991, last year they lost their first game to Gallup but won 28 straight afterwords. This year Espanola is expected to have another great season and once again will probably take the top seed for the state tournament they lost to Albuquerque Academy last year in the Semi-finals 55-54 in Overtime. Over 17,200 fans packed The Pit, 15,700 of them were from the Espanola Valley, Espanola is the only high school ever to pack the pit, setting the decibel level at 117.

Pojoaque Elks defending AAA State Champions lost 5 seniors to graduation, they have been facing some close calls in the last 2 games, they are in the re-building stages.

Santa Fe Demons are doing very well after they beat Los Alamos for the first time in 8 years, coach Lenard Roybal has really built a well team over the past few years, he took Espanola to the state finals in 1991.
