Question Decent thrift stores?

Ok...so after moving here my husband and I have made several trips to the SF Goodwill to drop off things we never really needed. I made yet another trip today. I find the people there to be very rude (Atleast the ones I dealt with), very unappreciative and never willing to help a woman lift her boxes. I have a bad feeling they just rummage through your stuff and throw half of it out anyway!
Today I decided to venture inside. I really need some cheap-o scrubs for work and am NOT about to pay $30 for a set at wally world. Their scrubs in GW were STILL expensive!!!
Does anyone have a favorite thrift store that they frequent? I used to frequent Savers back in ND..but the closest one I've found is in ABQ. I'd love to check out the stores that other people find reasonable, clean and friendly!! Thanks!

Smile Good thrift stores

A really cute kind of artsy style thrift store is in Espanola. It's called Boomerang. It will take you a 20 minute trip from santa fe to get there, but I think you would appreciate it far better than the GW. Very clean and super friendly owner. Check it out! I always find uninque stuff when I go.

The Goodwill here in SF gets more donations than any other store in the Southwest (according to their spokesperson). They don't throw much stuff away; instead they actually ship most of the donations to the Albuquerque stores since there's not enough room here. Interesting, huh? That should mean this store has the best of everything!
