Hello all,
Can anyone tell me anything about the santa fe police department's academy? Is it a live in academy? Also, is it true that santa fe pd is in pretty desperate need of officers?

My impression is that they need police officers because they don't pay much and it is a bad work environment particularly for someone who is serious about doing a good job.

If you go to work for them, please come back and tell us about your experience. I'd love to be wrong.
