I'm going to be in Santa Fe for a long weekend with a few friends and was wondering what are some good places to go and enjoy the city. Preferably some place that has a younger crowd, cheaper drinks, and a nice atmosphere (I know, a lot to ask for).
My hubby and I enjoy The Catamount for shooting pool. A lot of people like the Cowgirl altho I have yet to go as I refuse to pay a covercharge for most anything.
Well SF isn't really young or cheap, but I second Second St Brewery and add Del Charro for cheap and Counter Culture and Santa Fe Baking Co for true local SF flavor.
Catamount, The underground..which is downstairs in Evangelo's, Its kind of hit or miss though. and Fusion, really the only places..sf does not have a large young crowd!
corazon is a nice place. you can go there at 7 or 8 for some really awesome food ($6 for bleu cheese burgers or goat cheese chile relleno, etc.) then stay for the live music (no cover if you get there before a 8:30 or so..). check their website for who's playing.
