What a jerk. What a horrible experience. Don't go into that laundry room again at night. Do you know where this guy lives? Maybe you can call the management or at least let your husband know about him. Meanwhile, get a big pair of men's boots at Walmart and put them outside your door. Make it look like a man is at home. And get yourself a baseball bat and keep it near the door. Get a few baseball bats and hide them around the house. That kind of thing would creep me out too.

This might provide some peace of mind for those who are concerned about the SF rapist.
I asked a friend of mine who knows NM laws and said that stun guns are fine in NM. Here are states where they are restricted and cities too:

State where stun guns are restricted:
Illinois
Hawaii
Massachusetts
Michigan
New Jersey
New York
Rhode Island
Wisconsin

Cities where stun guns are restricted:
Annapolis, MD
Baltimore and Baltimore County, MD
Chicago, IL
Dension / Crawford County, IA
All of the District of Columbia
Philadelphia

Hope this helps.
