Default pool company

we have a bid in on ANOTHER home...it has a pool that would need to be cleaned--here's hoping..I want to be prepared in case we actually get this one!

JIC- anyone have a good pool guy who won't kill us in cost- yet knows what they're doing..??

If your pool has a cleaning / vacuming system it should cost you less. Mine does not, and I pay $85.00 he comes every Monday like clockwork, and provides all of the chemicals, and tests the water.

I do not have a salt type filter, but I understand that is less costly to operate, but don't have any numbers or experience with that. - Sorry

I had my guy install a heat pump heating system - about $3k. It adds on average may $120/month in the winter time, but when it warms up we turn it off, or if we keep it on the electric cost is negligable because it doesn't run much. ;-)
