Bradenton?
Well, unfortunately(I think) I just found out that im no longer able to purchase the business I planned on opening in Coconut Creek. However, there are other locations I can choose from in FL. One that has peaked my intrest is in Bradenton.
I really like the East coast better but who knows, im sure i'll enjoy the West as well. So need some opinions on the Bradenton and surrounding areas.
I am a 30yr old male professional, not married & no kids. I still enjoy nightlife and the beach. I know there is Ybor city in Tampa, actually been there before. How is life in Bradenton, what's it like there? Any recomendations on where to live?
Thanks!!

bradenton has nothing going on that a single 30 yr old male would want besides maybe golf and a nice beach....if u want to party with young women u will be trecking up 45 minutes to tampa.

Totally agree - nothing in Bradenton - a 30 yr. old male would do best in Tampa by a mile!

Hi
One of the things you mentioned is that you're a professional. Bradenton has many young people as it is an up and coming area. There are plenty of restaurants and nite life around the University Parkway corridor and then there's Lakewood Ranch which is a great place for young and old alike to live. It's a master planned community with retail, medical, commercial office space, a couple of beautiful golf courses, restaurants, a polo club and much more. Many professionals even work from their homes in this community. Bradenton is about a 20 minute ride to the beach.
Sarasota, the adjacent city has MUCH to offer. It is a cultural city with ballet, opera, symphony orchestra, museums, botanical gardens, live theatre (about 5) and some of the finest beaches in the world. Sarasota has a great nite life and is a city that's growing. There's plenty to do in Sarasota and it's absolutely beautiful. So, if you move to Bradenton, you will also have the benefit of all that Sarasota has to offer and it's also just a short ride to Tampa going north and Ft Myers going south.
I hope this helps. You can go to my website to learn more.

Bradenton is "trying" to be up & coming...Sarasota, however, is where it's happening for young professionals...look up Scene Magazine & Sarasota Magazine, as well as Sarasota2night.com....

Pick Bradenton - despite some problems it is a charming town, and you will be within commuting distance to Tampa, St. Pete or Sarasota for better night life and culture.
