This does not involve a sale.
What is the best/most economical way to transfer property title in Florida/Sarasota.? If only realestate lawyer can do this, please recommend some options. Thanks.

If it does not involve a sale, you can down load a quick claim deed form, and have the title changed over to you name. You just need to file it with the county and pay a small couple hundred dollar fee to have it recorded properly. You can have an attorney, but it is not necessary, so long as the other party signs the document, and it is notarized.

Here is a location to find one of the forms that you might consider using.

That would be quit claim deed. Just didn't want you to get confused if you were searching for the document.

Hmmm...that looks awful similar to something I said a few days ago. Are you copying me

Ha! BH knows how to get these things done 'quick' and doesn't know the meaning of the word 'quit'!

bb, that is true - quitting is not what i do. But, sometimes I think about it. Unfortunately my memory sux and I forget about quitting before I remember why I wanted to quit in the first place - so I keep going and going and going. - Till I win.
