Dorothy, to me that looks like a Scutigera coleoptrata aka "house centipede".

Here is a pic I found & I noticed it has the same stripe pattern on the legs & long front antennae as the one in your pic...

i saw those in NY twice in my life. are they common in FL? I encountered more banana spiders this week then in a year here *ick*

I also used to see these guys in Upstate NY but never in FL yet,around here the creepiest thing for me is still those wolf spiders,I still take a step or two back when I see a big one.
