Agreed. I regretted that immediately.

could use it for those at the next table in a restaurant that complain the foie gras isnt quite right, they dont have chateau mouton rothschild or the temperature of the chateau petrus is not up to par.

I had to laugh at this as a response. Especially since it's in Spanish

Now what the heck was this thread about anyway? Pizza or something?

BOttm Line - you won't find NY style pizza here. BUT - you can find excellent Itaian food - after two winters in SRQ, I've now settled on one particular place for my Italian fix: Salute Sarasota

They own 5 restaurants in PA, and their own Winery in Italy. And their wine is terrific, too.
Thanks for the tip on an Italian Restaurant. Just went last night - (they were closed until Oct. 3rd) My husband and I loved it. We will not look anywhere else for great Italian food. This is the place!!! Thanks again.

hmm, mybe i'll try it. I wonder how the homemade gnocchi is, mmmmmm and they do have an eggplant rollatini on the dinner menu and that's something I've really missed (although the description doesn't sound really like what I am after it does look good) it says the whole menu is available for take-out so that's a bonus too since my kids hate eating out and I have no babysitter!

I've been down here a month and tried pizza for the first time. It was a place called Michelangelo's of Long Island. They have 3 places down here. One in lakewood ranch, sarasota and I think bradenton. It was good and satisfied my pizza cravings. They're from Long Island, NY (east end-north fork).
