Well, it seems everyone is all over the board. The 22nd has now opened up for me so I guess we'll take a vote on it.

Who wants Oct 15th, Oct 22nd, Oct 29th? Let me know and what ever date gets the most people we'll do it that day.

The Lido mangrove tunnels are really cool. You guys who aren't going are missing out. There also the sunken barge out there as well. And if you get really crazy you can paddle by Brian Johnson of AC/DC's home.

So, anyone else for the 22nd? Beachy, Chester, Rushmore, anybody????

Default wish I could

I have always wanted to try Kayaking, and down there would be the bomb
I am hoping to be down there for the last 2 weeks of December, I am having surgery on the 29th of November, and hoping I can travel by car to Florida by the 17th of Dec.
Think of me while your kayaking and look for my friends the Blue Herons

SoFlGal does this board let you edit the thread title? Maybe if you change it people will realize there is more discussion, change of dates, etc. Worth a try!

Oh, I'd love for you to go! Haven't seen you around for a while but I thought of you a few days ago. I was walking into Pelican Alley Restaurant in Nokomis and saw a little green heron sitting right by the door. I could have reached out and touched him he was so close. I thought of your search for the heron statue.

Let me know when you come in town and if the weather is nice we'll plan another trip
