[quote=Annie of Oldsmar;22253039]Of course! Merry Christmas!

Love the photo of the tree in the sand, how original.

We are doing Christmas at my aunt's today, and going to the beach tomorrow for Christmas after our 2 yr old unwraps his gifts. This is our 3rd Christmas here and have never gone to the beach on Xmas day (been too cold the past two years). We're taking advantage of the unseasonably warm weather this year :-) Merry Christmas and god bless to all.

To any of you that have kids, you might want to take the drive along the siesta beach road at night; it has some really nice christmas lights all along there.

Do you not have drink/drive laws in Florida? I don't think that was very funny, you could have killed someone. Perhaps you will have more sense this year!

yah, it was a joke. now if some of my friends down here told the story i would be believing it.

used to be acceptable to drink and drive over the holidays. never heard about accidents until the past 20 or so years. in fact it was not uncommon for a cop to follow you home to make sure you got there ok. way to many people now.

thing is most of us probably drive better under the influence than any of the over 80 year old road warriors down here do. saw a guy this morning in the r/h lane put his right turn signal on and then cut off cars and went to the left lane doing 35 in a 45.

between 30-35% of accidents are caused by drunk drivers...which means 65% are caused by sober ones.

ergo it is safer to drive drunk.....QED as my old math teacher woudl say
