Hello everyone. I'm moving to Sarasota, but before buying, I'd like to stay in our 5th wheel so I can get more info on neighborhoods/homes. Do you have any suggestions of smaller RV communities in the area. Google just points me to the big resorts and I am looking for something a bit less touristy. if anything comes to mind and looks fairly clean/safe, please let me know. Thanks

Ramblers Rest
Hi, I know someone who stays at a seasonal campground in Venice called Ramblers Rest. He has been a snowbird camper here for a while, and told me how much he and his wife have enjoyed it. Good Luck.

There is a RV park on Cortez Road right before the bridge. Its only a few years old.

there is one on fruitville exit 210 just east of I-75 my bil stayed there last year ,nice park with lots of amenities

rv park
there is a large rv park called Sun 'N Fun just outside of Sarasota with easy access. We stayed there 2 years ago. It is very busy in the winter, well kept with lots of activities. It may be difficult to get in during the winter
