Does anybody know of anybody looking to annual rent a 3 bed with office single family home. I know of a family who are now homeless because the property they were renting has been foreclosured. They were paying $6000per month. They have 2 girls that attend ODA and would like to stay on Siesta or close to the North bridge on the mainland.

Many Thks in advance

Aren't they protected by law from being evicted?

I just saw a three bedroom pool house on Siesta Key today for $3000 on craigslist. They shouldn't have any problems finding a rental in their price range.

Thks blue herons I'll check it out. My landscape gardener told me about their plight. I was under the understanding that the law does protect the tenants. I have told them to contact their lawyer but they had already moved out. They were renting through one of the larger property management companies in Sarasota so I'm surprised they didn't help them. and yes their budget is $6000, and they still can't find anything...it's amazing. thought somebody who knows somebody may be able to help out on here.

Hank Rossi helped me when I first moved down here and he handles upscale rentals.

If their budget is 6000.00 a month, surely they can find something and not be thought of as "homeless".

You would think so wouldn't you, but they really want Siesta Key and a property that is all singing all dancing, however as most are vacation rentals on siesta with landlords that would rather hang around for the odd rental week, it seems an impossible task.
