Hi All,
My family and I just moved to Sarasota from NY. We will be going back there to visit our family pretty regularly so we will have to put our lab in doggie day care for the first time.
Needless to say we are nervous about where to leave him. Anyone have any suggestions?
In addition, once we close on our home we want to get a cleaning service to come in and do a massive deep clean of the house before we move in. We have an 11-month-old plus our dog, so a "green" service is preferrable. I'd appreciate any suggestions.

I've used Merry Maids in the past with good success, but it helps if you hang around and watch them do the work.

In terms of a deep cleaning, I'd skip Merry Maids. They're fine for routine monthly cleaning. But for a one-time "move-in" deep clean I'd recommend calling Pamela at CleanTime services (
CleanTime Services-Home ). I just moved to the area last month and they deep cleansed my home and got into every nook & cranny including light fixtures, baseboards, cabinet drawers, blinds, behind/under appliances, etc.
