relo/comments on Sarasota/Bradenton move (Clearwater, Largo: renting, homes, schools)

We currently live in NYC and want to relocate to the West Coast of Florida and am curious as to the different places I have an interest in.

I am leaning towards St Pete, Dunedin, Largo etc.

But would like to hear feedback from the Sarasota/Bradenton area Please.

Work does not concern us... it is easy to find for us.
We wish to find a nice 4 bedroom home and start a Family down there.

Any feedback as to moving to Sarasota, Bradenton Please

We are renting in Bradenton just outside of Sarasota, East Bradenton is very nice. Has great schools and affordable homes and it's not to far from the beach. It also allows easy access to I75. Sarasota is very nice also. I don't know too much but the other areas but I don't recommend Largo, We spend a lot of time in the Clearwater area and it doesnt look to impressive. It's a very small town from what we see and it doesnt seem like the best area..
