Haven't booked a flight without using them in about ten years.

As for the crying kids, yes, it happens.
Never heard of this software I did a search on it. Nothing pulled up Southwest at all and most were US Airlines.

I always check Southwest for flights, and found a nice price ONCE, for my mother to fly from Milwaukee to St. Louis! That's it! Otherwise they're crazy expensive. AND now that they took over AirTran, they stopped the Milwaukee to Sarasota flights altogether!

You have to constantly check online frequently for the prices which change weekly.

it's free to sign up for their clubs. True Blue and whatever Southwest has. I get emails with cheap flights all the time. It's easier to get a deal if you can be spontaneous or at least flexible.

Yeah, SW killed the direct Air Tran flights from MKE and rerouted the remainder with connections through ATL. Stinks for work travel and stinks for personal travel. We may drive to FL this winter instead of flying, especially if decent ticket prices are nowhere to be found.

That's great! I need to jump ahead on the bookings for 2013 now that my wife has her vacation dates settled. Thanks, mrs cool for the tip on Rockford, IL airport. Having multiple options is a very good thing.

Sure Ragnar, no prob. The flights start Valentine's Day. They were pretty cheap back when it was Direct Air flying out of there, hopefully they will still be, I haven't looked yet.
