C'mon now. If someone is going to complain about second hand smoke on a beach then he or she must live a charmed life indeed. The next thing they'll be complaining about is someone wearing perfume.

Littering your cig butts is another matter though.

Getting back on topic though......Are there beaches where no smoking is allowed? I don't think I ever saw an answer.

The signs are still up on the beaches but they can not enforce them. That law was taken off the books recently and they just have not taken the signs down. I don't think there are any Florida beaches that are non-smoking anymore. But I could very well be wrong.

Wow who would think so many people would be so upset about people smoking on the beaches. So long as no one blows smoke in anyone's face and cleans up after themselves I really don't see an issue. Live and let live, just because I don't smoke doesn't mean others can't.

It's a forum, everyone is entitled to their opinions no matter what they are. Just chill and don't take anything here too serious.

Stay on topic.. this is not the place to discuss smoking in general. Please report bad post rather and bicker back and forth.

Can you give me a list of approved opinions and reactions from which I can cut and paste my comments going forward?

I didn't realize that there was such a narrow range of acceptable discourse when it came to the highly specific topic of "Smoking on the Beach."

It's my fault. I thought this was a "forum."

IMHO, the key part of Keeper's admonition refers to refraining from bickering. I like to read these threads for information and general discourse but when they deteriorate to what amounts to a p*ssing match, it gets old and provides no useful purpose.
