Yes, it's inconvenient to wait for a table at a restaurant. And yes, there is more traffic. And yes, you have to wait in a longer line at Publix. And no, you can't park in the front row anymore at shopping centers. But....you choose to live in SW Florida. It has always been this way here, and always will be. It's only for a few months out of the year.

Some people are complete morons and don't realize if it wasn't for the snowbirds, Sarasota would have a fraction of the amenities it currently has. And when I say amenities, I include the hospital systems.

I mad an offer on some acreage in Hot Springs. 3.25 acres on a ridge with a good view. 4300 an acre. I know I should have asked this before I bought but I think its a good buy. Is that a fair price for good land with a good view in a solid sub that has nice homes? Its about 5 miles from down town HS in between the village and HS. I lived near there before and it was great. I am told that property is making a come back. Any info would help.

LOL I only found shelves to be bare in the summer...because not as much is ordered and when it goes it doesn't get replaced as quickly...oh us horrid full time year round residents!
